Our 26th Jacob’s Ladder Golf Classic was held on May 13th at The Club at Viniterra in New Kent County. Although a rainy start to the day meant golfers had to keep carts on paths, spirits were high and clubs were swinging as the 1 pm shotgun start got underway.
Congratulations to the First Flight winners: Martin Folliard Team and Second Flight winners: John Albaugh Team! Special thanks to all of the golfers, volunteers, JL staff (especially Janet Kirby) and Viniterra staff for making the day a success. 100% of the net proceeds from the tournament help provide room and board for the month of July for JL Climbers at the summer enrichment camp which will be held at Christchurch School near Urbanna.
