Summer Instructors
Summer Instructors provide the element of enrichment to the program with courses that include creative and critical thinking to stretch the minds of our bright Climbers. Are you a talented teacher who enjoys working with gifted middle schoolers? Are you ready to be challenged and stretched in your teaching? Jacob’s Ladder employs instructors specifically for the Summer Enrichment Program. These positions are highly sought after and allow instructors the unique opportunity to create a course for a roomful of eager and intelligent minds. If you are interested in creating a class that will be taught for one week, 3 sessions a day, send an e-mail to director@jladder.org stating your course idea, preferred week, teaching background, and any past experiences working with gifted children.
The 2024 choice of weeks includes Week 1 (July 1 – July 5), Week 2 (July 8 – July 12), Week 3 (July 15 – 19), and Week 4 (July 22 – July 25, four days only).
