A record day for golf

The 27th Annual Jacob’s Ladder Golf Tourney was held on Monday 19 October. The day was one of those not-too-cold, not-too-hot, but *just right* days in Fall when the light, the air, and all the stars align to produce a great day for golf!

Although this years Tourney had to be delayed (not once, but twice) because of the pandemic, and there were some concerns that the turnout would be down, the numbers would be low, the weather would not hold – everything was just to the contrary.

Turnout was fantastic, the numbers were up – an early count marked that at least $13,000 was raised to support the Summer Enrichment Program – and the weather was fantastic.

Starting off the day with a putting and chipping contest, the golfers left the clubhouse at 12:00 noon for a “best drive” event. And the results?
